Chess as art

Chess is something that I do not get tired with (funny about that), but it is always to good to look at something through a different ‘lens’ occasionally. So – here is a visual as to how a computer may envision an opening stage of the game (from this site, if you want to see more).

Chess Improvement

Welcome! My name is Scott, and I provide chess coaching for anyone (from 6 to 66 years young) that want to improve their game. I have included a few resources on this site, so please have a look around.

Update: I have paused any lessons for now – sorry!

I am living in Southbank (CBD) of Melbourne, and I provide my services in this general area. Please use the contact form to get in touch with any questions.

I can coach you to play better, with a systematic and wchess-stepsell proven method that has been successfully adopted by many chess clubs and schools in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Over 450,000 students (and counting) have been taught chess using this method. The method has been approved by the Royal Dutch Chess Federation, and has become the single most popular method in The Netherlands. I even give out chess homework! I can provide a structured, systematic but fun course for anyone willing to learn or improve their chess.
