My name is Scott, and I am an experienced chess coach/tutor, recently relocated from Sydney to the Melbourne CBD area (Southbank). I am offering my services for juniors, beginners and intermediate students of all ages. Let us take your game to the next level! I am also a member of the Wyndham Chess Club and the Hobsons Bay chess club.
I am an active chess player (rated in the top 100 in Victoria), competing in local and national events throughout the year. I hold a Working with Children Check, and I am available for some afternoons during the week from 6 pm, or preferably a Saturday morning appointment would suit. Lessons go for an hour, usually held at the Port Melbourne Library (10am to 1pm Saturday, 333 Bay St Port Melbourne). If I come to you, then the lesson runs for 45 minutes.
